Primary duties include but or not limited to :
Plans and implements activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
Responsible for the instructions, care, hygiene, learning, and developmental activities, specialized programs,
and redirection of children during and aftercare program. Communicates directly with parents.
Maintains classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness.
Education / Knowledge:
Knowledge/experience of the Montessori method of teaching preferred.
CDA or Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
Degree in Early Childhood Education or related area highly desirable
Committed to ongoing training and other job specific duties
Must have great classroom management, organizational, and communication skills, and have a
clear understanding of what it means to have good work ethic. The candidate
should also be committed to the development of our Pre-K children, and bring a
positive attitude to the environment.
